Allee Cakmis grew up in the heart of her family’s Florida restaurant, 43rd Street Deli. Food has always been synonymous with happiness for her. This passion has taken her around the world, starting at Le Cordon Bleu, working in Germany after graduating, and eventually leading her to a vibrant career in San Francisco’s hospitality scene. Pulling from her experience at the greatest restaurants and wine bars of the Bay Area, Allee approaches the craft of cooking with integrity and a deep respect for ingredients. With inspiration rooted in classic Greek cuisine, she believes food doesn’t require bells or whistles to shine on the plate and palate; its principal role is to offer sustenance for the body and soul.
